With sales of cosmetics and toiletries growing by 9.1% in 2012, South Korea serves as one of the key engine rooms for growth in the Asian cosmetic market.

The men’s market is proving particularly strong, accounting for nearly 20% of the world’s men’s skincare market in 2012, with research by Euromonitor revealing that South Korean men spend $900m a year on beauty products.
