Collagen(insoluble collagen) is a protein that is abundant in animal skin(dermis), but it is usually not soluble in water or acid. Therefore, utilization of collagen as a cosmetic ingredient is very limited, but in 1978 we established unique technology to solubilize collagen. As a result collagen has come into wide use as cosmetic ingredient as it is. We have also recetly succedded to manufacture botanical (fruit) powders, extracts, and glycoprotein mucin(from squid), and collagen sheets by applying lyophilization (freeze-drying) technology. As a manufacturer of cosmetic raw materials, we have and will continue to endeavor to provide useful materials.More
