    ONLY IF YOU WORK IN FORMULATION, R&D OR PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT for a personal care manufacturer you are invited to apply to attend these practical formulation training sessions presented by our exhibitors. If you do not usually work in a laboratory environment then these sessions are not for you. Attendance is free of charge but subject to confirmation.

    EACH PERSON CAN ONLY APPLY TO A MAXIMUM OF 2 SESSIONS.

  • The potential of Cosphaderm thickeners, hyaluronic acids and paraben-free preservative systems

    The Cosphatec GmbH is focused on the development of alternative preservatives and blends to avoid parabens, Triclosan, MIT etc. Additionally we offer several royal class thickening agents and hyaluronic acids. We would like to show the participants the great benefits and the user-friendliness of our products. Together we will formulate a refreshing hydro gel!

    On top of this, we will present the formulation of a highly elastic facial mask which works without any tissue. In a last step, we will show how easy it is to replace controversially discussed preservatives like parabens by using our water-soluble, liquid and low cost preservative blends.

    This event will be experimental, fun and will give you inspiration for new or developing projects.

  • How to encapsulate HerbaProtect NOX into a liposomal gel!

    You will learn how to make a liposomal After Sun Gel with highly skin-protecting properties after sun light exposure.

    Based on:
    - HerbaProtect NOX protects the skin cells from peroxynitrite-induced UV damage as well as Infrared-A induced skin aging. It consists of components derived from Kakadu Plum, Pomegranate Flower and Perilla Leaf and is COSMOS approved.

    That will be encapsulated into:
    - Natipide, a pro-liposomal system based on lecithins, ethanol and water, for your easy encapsulation of actives.

    And combined with:
    - Peppermint Herbasol Extract and Cucumber Herbasol Extract that are known to show soothing, astringent and refreshing effects

  • Creating Phase Inversion Temperature (PIT) emulsions

    Phase Inversion Temperature (PIT) emulsions can lead to:
    •Very fine internal droplet size, which can enhance long term stability
    • A very fine and aesthetically pleasing product on application and
    • Cost savings through reduced processing times, temperatures and cooling
    Without losing the other benefits of creating o/w emulsions! However, they need to be created carefully to achieve all of these benefits.

    • Cost savings with high internal water phase content
