    There is much to organise when exhibiting at a show. Telling your customers and prospects that you will be there, is just as important as ordering the lighting for your stand.

    These Checklists will enable you to promote your presence at the show. The good news is that the majority of these tools and ideas are free.

    You will be able to download banners and logos to add to your emails/website, order visitor leaflets or personalised online registration links to invite contacts to visit you on your stand, get free PR and much more.

  • Promote Your Presence at the Show Checklist

    • Complete your catalogue entry [FREE]

      Deadline: 1st September

      Your 100-word catalogue entry will be taken from the information showing on the website under your company profile. The contact details and the product categories will also be taken from this page and printed in the catalogue.

      Benefits: 
      - Only enter your details into the website once
      - Alter your details any time up until the deadline, and that is what will be printed
      - Opportunity to tell visitors what makes your products so unique
        
      What to do: 
      Amend your profile and contact details in the Exhibitor Portal (you will need the email address and password to login).
      To check what is showing currently, click on your company name in the Exhibitor Directory.

      Advertising Deadline:

      PLEASE NOTE: Non-paying sharing companies (ie branches or subsidiaries who have opted out) that have been registered will only have their contact details and stand number included in the catalogue (i.e. no profile).

    • Maximise your exhibitor internet listing [FREE]

      Deadline: URGENT

      Post key information up on the in-cosmetics Asia website such as company details, brochures, products, videos and much more...

      Benefits: 
      - Draw the right visitors to your stand looking for your products
      - Get your products seen by thousands of visitors prior to the show
      - Encourage visitors to get in touch with you prior to the show
        
      What to do: 
      Take full advantage by going through each of the options listed in the Exhibitor Portal.

      Enhance your listing to make it stand out from your competitors


    • Notify us if you have any stand sharers

      Deadlines:
      For them to appear in the Preview magazine: 13 August
      For them to appear in the Show Catalogue: 15 September

      If you have another company sharing your stand, do please let us know as soon as possible so that they appear both on the in-cosmetics Asia website and on all the event literature.

      Benefits: 
      - Increased promotion for your sharing companies with their name on the Exhibitor Directory
      - Recognition of the regional brand/supplier will bring more visitors to your stand
        
      What to do: 
      - Send an email to Amy MacQuaide telling her how many sharers you would like to add

      [There is a £360 registration fee per sharing company, which will be invoiced to the main standholder]

    • Use the show logo/banners [FREE]

      Deadline: URGENT

      Maximise your pre-show promotion by using the show logo or banners.

      Put them on your website, on advertising and on your email signatures so customers and prospects know you will be at in-cosmetics Asia.

      Benefits: 
      - Ensure customers can not fail to know you will be at in-cosmetics Asia
      - Personalise the banner by adding your stand number
      - Animated banners are more likely to be clicked on

    • Invite your customers [FREE]

      WHY?
      Research has shown that 83% of the most successful companies at exhibitions were the ones that took the trouble to invite their prospects and customers before the show. Visitors are more likely to visit your stand if they have been invited by you.

      HOW?
      in-cosmetics Asia offers 2 free ways for you to invite your customers:

      1) Online Personalised Invitation
      A personalised visitor registration page for your clients to use.
      - Include your personalised registration link in logos, banners, emails and on your website
      - Be notified via e-mail each time one of your customers has registered through your invitation
      Log in to the Exhibitor Portal - click on Exhibitor Badges - then on Invite Your Clients and follow the instructions.

      2) Personalised Printed Invitations (100 Free) - DEADLINE: 15 August 
      A double-sided printed invitation to register to the show, which will give your customers free entry to the show even if they have not pre-registered. The invitation will feature your company name, logo and stand number.

      To receive 100 free invitations complete this order form by 15 August

      The first 100 invitations are free and will be sent to all exhibitors in September. If you require more than 100 invitations, please contact us.

    • Make social media part of your marketing [FREE]

      Social media is a great way to engage easily, instantly and cost-effectively with customers, prospects, industry experts, press and associations to build networks and reach people that may never have been possible before.

      Deadline: URGENT (first come, first served)

      Stand out from your competitors and grab the attention of visitors. We've got opportunities before the show and at the show, online and in print. There is something for all budgets and objectives - and if you've got your own ideas then simply call the team to discuss them.

    • Get coverage in the Industry Press [FREE]

      Benefits:
       - Editorial coverage is usually free

       What to do:

      The in-cosmetics Asia PR team always want to know your latest news and what you will be displaying at the show, so that we can highlight it to visitors, absolutely FREE!
      - Send your press releases to the in-cosmetics Asia PR team to include in show articles
      - Add the PR team to your press list: in-cosmetics@stormcom.co.uk

      Contact the trade publications direct
      Don't forget that many editorial deadlines can be up to 3 months prior to the show, so make sure you plan well in advance.

      3. Bring your press releases to the show and give them to our press team in the Exhibitor Lounge for them to display in the Press Office.

      There are many opportunities to get free editorial and paid advertising coverage before and at the show in the in-cosmetics Asia Show Preview Magazine and Show Catalogue so why not add the producers (Showtime Media) to your press lists and discuss advertising opportunities with them.

      Deadline: 15 September

      Gain additional exposure for your products at in-cosmetics Asia

      Why and how?
      Experts from our media and show partners will be recommending their favourite / hottest ingredients in specific product categories, so our visitors can save time and follow the trails.

      The trail Product Categories will be announced in June 2016. 

      By 15 September: To have your products included in those considered for a trail, simply log in to the Exhibitor Portal, and upload your products in the Products section making sure to tick one of the trail Product Categories .

      What promotional coverage will there be?
      All the trails will be publishing on our website, show catalogue and at the show. If you want your product to stand out from the crowd and be selected by one of our experts, then make sure you upload them right away to the exhibitor portal.
